SwipeLeft.lol ("we," "our," or "us") is a dating bio roasting tool. This policy explains what data we collect, what we do with it, and what we do not do.
We do not store your dating bio. When you submit a bio for roasting, it is sent to our AI provider (xAI) to generate a response and then discarded. We do not log, save, or retain the text of any bio submitted through this service.
Your results are displayed in your browser only. Once you close the tab, they are gone. We recommend copying anything you want to keep before leaving.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not handle, store, or see your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled. You can review it at stripe.com/privacy.
When you complete a payment, Stripe notifies our server and we issue a short-lived session token stored only in your browser's session storage. This token expires automatically and is not shared with any third party.
We do not use tracking cookies. We use browser session storage only to hold your access token for the current session. Session storage is cleared automatically when you close the tab.
We use the following third-party services:
xAI (Grok) — processes your bio to generate the roast. xAI's privacy policy applies to data sent through their API.
Stripe — handles payment processing. No bio content is shared with Stripe.
Netlify — hosts this site and its backend functions. Standard server logs may be retained by Netlify per their data policies.
We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.
We do not currently use third-party analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no ad retargeting).
SwipeLeft.lol is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
